Otter Products Announces New President, CEO

FORT COLLINS, Colo., March 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Otter Products appointed Steve Nisbet as president and Jim Parke as CEO of the global firm, following the recent resignation of Pete Lindgren. Lindgren joined Otter Products four years ago and held the roles of COO, president and CEO. After a 30-plus year career largely with global companies, he is taking time to pursue personal passions, including spending more time with his family.

"We are thankful for Pete's guidance and leadership during the last four years and are excited about the future with our new leadership team," said Richardson. "Both Steve and Jim are familiar with the Otter Products business and culture. They bring fresh perspectives to our renewed focus on innovation and the entrepreneurial spirit that helped grow Otter Products into the industry leader it is today."

Nisbet started working with Otter Products in 2010, moving with his family to Hong Kong to open the company's Asia-Pacific office. Nisbet led Otter Products' expansion into all of APAC's major countries and created several region-specific products, resulting in it becoming the fastest growing Otter Products office abroad. As president, Nisbet will oversee daily operations as well as global growth.

As CEO, Parke will guide strategy and ensure it remains aligned with the Otter Products vision to connect, protect and enable a mobile world. Working closely with Nisbet, he will provide support and guidance for strategic initiatives. Parke will also continue to serve as CEO of Blue Ocean Enterprises Inc., Otter Products' parent company, a role he's held for the last three years. In this capacity, he leads a diverse team of support professionals and provided mentorship for affiliated companies ranging from global to start-up. Parke previously served as general counsel for both Otter Products and Blue Ocean Enterprises.

Just as important as operations and strategy are to Otter Products, vision and culture have been keystones to the company's success. Richardson, who stepped out of daily operations at the company five years ago, will be returning as Chief Visionary Officer. His focus will be communicating vision to all employees, working on culture initiatives and getting back to his roots working on innovations to drive future business.
