For the past 17 years, the Breast Cancer Network of Strength™ Walk to Empower® has provided hope, inspiration and support in the fight against breast cancer. This Mother’s Day, May 10, 2009, OtterBox will join in on the tradition and offer support to hundreds of breast cancer patients and survivors, as well as their families and friends for the annual City Park walk in Denver, Colo.
Under the unmistakable yellow tent, walkers can stop by the OtterBox booth to check out the latest line of protective technology cases. OtterBox will be handing out free stickers and offering a special discount for event attendees. Ten percent of all OtterBox sales made from the event will be donated to the Network of Strength.
With a mission to ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone, Network of Strength raises money to fund outreach programs, breast health awareness workshops as well as wigs and prostheses for women with limited resources. The organization also offers a 24-hour support call center known as YourShoes™, staffed by counselors who are breast cancer survivors themselves.
